Tyler Davidson

Tyler is the local surf hero having competed on the World Professional Tour for several years. All the beach grommets look up to him when he is down the beach which is most nearly all the time.

While he only seems interested is surfing he does read articles and thinks about environmental sustainability.

He has noticed Eva is regularly watching his surf and stretch down the beach but avoids eye-to-eye contact with her.

Mark Harding

Mark Harding is the local taxi driver and regularly drives members of the Smith and Jones families to their destinations. He lives alone and is divorced. He drinks heavily and his only interest is watching sport and Sky News on TV.

He gets on with Ryan like a house on fire as they share rather right-leaning views about most things, but, when Elizabeth is in the car he finds, what he calls her 'bleeding heart' liberal attitudes, grating and shuts up.

He refused to get vaccinated against Covid-19 and he and Ryan discussed the possibility that there were nano chips hidden in the serum. Mark claims you cannot say there were no chips hidden. And he is sticking to that!
